My true identity abides in You…
“Father, I made an image of myself, and it is this I call the Son of God. Yet is creation as it always was, for Your creation is unchangeable. Let me not worship idols. I am he my Father loves. His holiness remains the light of Heaven and the Love of God. Is not what is beloved of You secure? Is not the light of Heaven infinite? Is not Your Son my true Identity, when You created everything that is?”
That prayer unfolds gently uncovering the false and laying open the truth of who we are, and the promise of our Father's indubitable Will.
Todays lesson is a beautiful affirmation that our question of life is already answered true identity in God. Plus, the Atonement answered our mistaken identity.
We are Christ, the holy Son of God, for God's sake.
For the love of God, can we just quit the farce today?
Admit it. It's exhausting doing it our way. Not to mention, it's no fun anymore.
We have each recognized the truth.
Whenever we give up the game and listen... it's always there... waiting with love's embracing arms...
In between plans that fail (as they always must) and the onset of guilt, there in the empty space where nothing we have made is, love rest patiently, holding it all.
Today, can we allow identity be itself only. Can we not insist on the ''nothingness-identity overlays' we seemingly 'worked so hard to design', and let our awareness rest in the beam of Christ that lights all creation and all dreams as well?
Ah, yes! of course we can and will... for it is God's Will, which is our own...
Now are we one in shared Identity, with God our Father as our only Source, and everything created part of us. And so we offer blessing to all things, uniting lovingly with all the world, which our forgiveness has made one with us.
Together, abiding always, already in our true identity in God~LOVE we broach our day.
