LESSON THREE HUNDRED FOURTY-EIGHT

Lesson 348:

I have no cause for anger or for fear, for You surround me. And every need that I perceive, Your grace suffices me…

Enough~ always, just exactly enough…

A wonderful awareness of my coming home to my Self, which frankly, took me by surprise, was that there is always just enough; it's always just right…

It takes a bit of peeking beneath the covers of false identity with its blaring horn of “more, more, more” which blasts constantly from the ego perception of the world… Yet beneath it lies the truth that grace suffices...

For the longest time, I felt haunted by ‘not-enough-ness’, feeling weak and unstable; always trying to do more, seemingly to get more. I was so busy paying the price of admission to enoughness, I didn't have anything I could really share or give of myself. Nothing really sufficed… I was merely caught up in a fantasy of false identity. Actually, I had forgotten it was not my Self…

Because no-thing suffices, it is destined to leave one empty. I felt nothing mattered or meant anything to me… It seemed I lost my mind…

I could not see the forest for the trees. I could not see that I was what I was looking for. That by Grace I live... It was by grace I was and am released.

The miracle came softly and rested gently on my broken sight… It showed me that within and beyond the crazy effort-ing, is what I call the zero-point; the eye of the storm, the empty fullness of potentiality~

Within each being and moment is the inevitability of love! What characterizes every person, event or circumstance is the grace of God which always, already, suffices…

To experience this grace, we need merely be willing to surrender mind. Which is to say, to surrender all perceived needs as they rise to forgiveness, to let go our tendencies toward defense of anger and fear, and allow trust to handle every problem ~now~

By grace, the light always dawns and we see that we have everything, because we are everything.

We begin to experience the truth of today’s lesson: We have no cause for anger or for fear, for God surrounds us… And every need that we perceive, God’s grace suffices…
